The locations edit is a place where you enter your frequently-visited locations. We highly recommend setting up your most common locations in this area. It will add a whole new dimension to your reports and maps. They are used for several purposes:
| • | To quickly choose a location when adding sightings using the Sightings Editor |
| • | To specify the general location category when generating reports such as the Seasonal Checklist. |
| • | To allow the software to automatically place sightings in the correct location category when entering them using the Sightings Explorer. This is a great labour saving tool during data entry. |
Use the Locations Editor Navigation Bar at the top of the form to navigate, add, and delete locations.
To choose a position for this location on the map, click the "Pick Location From Map" button besides the latitude and longitude.
